Foothill Gold 2030 is a 14U girls travel fastpitch team based in El Dorado Hills, California, playing the PGF and Triple Crown circuits. 14 players, all class of 2030.
El Dorado Hills sits in the Sacramento foothills, east of the city on Highway 50. Travel fastpitch here is a regional commitment rather than a local one: the competitive calendar runs through Lincoln, Modesto, Stockton, Tracy and Elk Grove, all inside a couple of hours, with at least one Southern California trip each season.

The honest version: it is a real commitment of weekends and driving, and the reason families do it is that college evaluation happens on this circuit rather than in high-school ball. What it is not is every weekend — a season is 8 of them, concentrated between late August and January.
